My 25th !!!

Yesterday I celebrated my 25th birthday! I can't believe I'm 25! I have officially entered my mid-twenties! I still feel 20, the past five years have flown by so fast. I was pregnant with Jonathon at 20 and definitely having kids makes time zoom on by. I am apprehensive about getting closer to 30, it sounds so old to me. After talking to my mom she mentioned how much she loved her thirties and how they were her best years. It gave me some hope. The last five years have been the best years and the worst years of my life. It has been a roller coaster and I am hoping that the last five years in my twenties goes a little smoother!! My sister and I were reminded of that movie, "13 going on 30." The line, "Thirty, flirty and thriving!" made us laugh, but also made me think maybe 30 will be my best years  :) I am a quarter of a century, now that sounds old. I thought when I woke up, what have I done in my life?? When I walked downstairs to the pink decorations in the kitchen, saw my boys filled with such excitement, I thought, oh yeah I have done a lot! I have an amazing husband, three wonderful sons, a beautiful home filled with love, and many blessings to be thankful for. I have learned a lot the last five years, and grown tremendously in many ways. I had the most special day, filled with crepes for breakfast, a nice nap, a surprise massage at the spa, a little shopping spree, pumpkin patch with the boys, and a romantic dinner at Salty's on Alki Beach!  My boys surely did spoil me like a queen! :)

I woke up to this - a table all about me.

Jake is so cute, I love that he does this. It's tradition.

We had crepes for breakfast, the best! With Nutella and bananas and whipped cream, ohhh man!

My cute little baby loved the balloons the best :)

Picking out our pumpkins!

Jonathon and Caleb loved looking and grabbing at all of them

~Brothers~

We found these cute pumpkins in our barrel!

On the huge tractor, farmer Jon :)

They were nice enough to give grown ups birthday balloons, and in my favorite color!

Pina Colada's are heaven

Seattle sky line at night, so gorgeous!

All beautifully lit up!

My hubby and I filled to the brim after crab legs (Jake's plate of course) and filet mignon for me! (Thanks mom and dad for the purse!)

To end the beautiful evening they surprised me with their famous white chocolate mousse cake and a candle! I made a great wish!

Thank you for all the wishes, cards, texts, gifts and more! I felt so loved! Thank you to my mom and dad for giving me life! For helping me these past 25 years to be who I am today! I love you both. And to Jake, you are the love of my life, thank you for always making my birthdays so special! To my boys, you made my day with your smiles and kisses and hugs and happy birthday songs! Caleb you said your first, "dadada" on my birthday! It wasn't daddy's birthday buddy! It's okay, maybe on daddy's birthday in May you will say mama!  To Ryan, I thought of you many times on my birthday, and as daddy and I sat peacefully hand in hand watching the sunset we felt you near. I love my little family with all my heart! Looking forward to my 25th year!
