This quote is so true! October is my favorite month and it was very welcomed!
Grandparents day at Jonathon's school, I was grandma Ashley so he wouldn't eat lunch alone ;) We sure missed having Grandma Rae and Grandma Linda with us!
General Conference weekend was a breath of fresh air, it always is for me. It was nourishing for the soul and the stomach, as you can tell by the picture above. The boys actually did pretty well at trying to listen to several talks as they played their bingo game that goes along with it. They listened for key words like love, repentance, forgiveness, Savior, temples, family, etc. and when they heard them they put a candy on their board. They listened very intently when our prophet spoke and it made me happy watching their reactions to the words he spoke to us. There were so many amazing talks that touched my soul. Here is a quote from one of them:
Jake loves to throw the kids up high, I'm over it making me nervous like it used to because they love it. Bella wasn't a fan until recently, for a long time if Jake tried she would get fussy, but lately she laughs and screams and it is hilarious to watch. They love to "fly!"
Jonathon was on the honor roll at school for his wonderful grades and was awarded a certificate at his favorite pizza and game place in town, we're so proud of him and how he works at school!
Caleb is loving preschool and was telling me all about how he was a chef and made homemade pizza at school.
This is her mad face when she doesn't get her way... Oh boy ... She was even more upset when she saw me take a picture of her! Woops ;)
The Pioneer Woman's chicken italian soup was amazing! Try it here http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2011/09/italian-chicken-soup/
October was still hot in Texas but Caleb insisted it was time to wear his robe :)
