A cute little picture of my Caleb, he loves climbing trees and he said, "mom, take a picture of me up in the tree," haha. He is the busiest boy with his engineering mind, always taking things apart and trying to figure out how things work, but when he smiles like this at me, he melts my heart.

Boy Scouts
Jonathon started Boy Scouts this fall and we were all so excited about it. He had been looking forward to it for so long. He has already passed off many things, sports related especially, because he has played a lot of sports lately. He has learned how to fold the American flag, the scout motto, the history of Boy Scouts, how to build a tee pee, basketball techniques, and has had a blast at each pack meeting with all the other scouts. It's a whole new world for me, knowing very little. It has been fun learning about scouts and participating in the pack meetings with their rituals. Jake has been loving it too. He loves scouts and his sweet mother wouldn't let him drive until he earned his Eagle award. One of the first things he showed me when I first visited him in Seattle was his eagle project he did at the high school, a sign and wall out of brick in the front. He loves everything camping, hiking, fishing, and is my go-to man when it comes to packing anything or tying knots ;) Jake and Jonathon have loved working on scouts together, I couldn't imagine doing it on my own. We are so proud of Jonathon, he gets himself all ready every week, handkerchief and all. He is only at the beginning of many years of scouting, and we are excited to watch him grow and learn in the program.
