Fun in Waco Tx

It's so fun exploring a new state, especially when one of your best friends visits! Ashley Schill and her family were visiting Houston, and we met up in Waco which was a half way point between us both. We miss the Schill family! We took the kids to this awesome children's museum right on the Baylor University campus, which is an incredible campus! We had so much fun there with kids. Caleb and Jamisen were best buds going to preschool together in Fresno so they were happy to see each other too. Isabella and Jackson are only six months apart and were pretty funny together. Jackson would grab her and she would look at me so confused :)

This boy loves trains!

Cute little babies! That Jackson is a heartbreaker!

So this is blurry because we had Jamisen take it but we were having fun in the giant tee pee :)

Water and bubble fun!

These pianos are so fun!

Longhorns!

Ashley loves dr pepper and informed me that the headquarters where it was founded was nearby us, so of course we had to make a trip the dr pepper musuem!
It was so cute! We had dr pepper made homemade for us at the soda fountain with cherry and vanilla, yum, and the kids enjoyed a little homemade rootbeer :) I even let Bella have a tiny taste.

It was a wonderful day, even though it was just an afternoon together, it was worth it!
Another interesting fact about Waco, it is where the headquarters to the Glass Doctor company is located, which is the company Jake's grandpa started in Seattle fifty years ago. Jakes dad then franchised it in Texas and Georgia and to over 100 more locations nationwide when Jake was little. He sold it to a franchising firm in the 90's located in Waco and they have franchised it to over 200 stores nationwide now. Even though it's not a part of our family now, it would still be neat to take the kids there someday to show them what there great-grandpa created.
