Halloween and our famous visitor!

When Aunt Brittany comes to visit, it is like a celebrity has come! The kids were SO excited to see her! All week long the kids were attached to her hip. Brittany and I wondered how Isabella would respond to her, since it had been ten months! She instantly warmed up to her Aunt. It makes me wonder if babies and children can sense a strong similarity between the siblings of their parents, whether it's by looks, sound of their voice, mannerisms, etc.

Before aunt Brittany arrived we had fun at our church's Halloween trunk or treat

Isabella was a princess, Caleb darth vader, Jonathon a bumblebee transformer, Jake Phil from duck dynasty and me a witch :)

The next evening was the Boo Bash in downtown Burleson, which had more trick or treating for kids, along with games and these guys ^^^ The boys were so happy to meet these superheroes!
Sunday before Halloween I didn't realize the kids and I were all matching in black and white, so yeah we took a picture, because it rarely happens ;)

My sister stayed with us for six wonderful days! The day we picked her up from the airport was her birthday, the day before Halloween! So we surprised her back at our house with balloons, homemade italian dinner, and a giant chocolate chip cookie (her fave). We carved pumpkins after singing happy birthday, it was such a fun day with her!

These two filled up my phone camera with the cutest and hilarious selfies

It was so nice having family with us for halloween, it makes it that more special. Two kitties about to go trick or treating in our neighborhood.

The Tracy family on Halloween night!

Cutest little kitty! My mom bought this kitty dress for her years before she was ever born!

Brittany and Jake are best buds, they sure love each other and I'm so thankful for that.

Check out the mounds of candy! They were pretty excited. This always brings back memories of when I was little. I would save my candy in my top drawer and it would last me for months! They're only allowed a few pieces a day so it should last them a while

The kids had a blast trick or treating with aunt B. There were some pretty scary houses they braved going up to together.  They chased and scared each other running through the night. Isabella was wide eyed the whole night, wondering why it was so dark, why she kept seeing candy everywhere, why people were dressed differently, acting crazy and hyper. She enjoyed it though, especially the chocolate. We ended the night watching hocus pocus and sending videos to grandma of everyone all dressed up.

The next day aunt Brittany went with us to watch Jonathon play his last golf game in Fort Worth, she loved it because she also loves golf. It was a beautiful day and Jonathon did great, we are so proud of him!

Little sassy face ^ makes me always laugh

Visiting the ponies a few minutes from home, Bella loves all animals!

For Sunday dinner that weekend we made a little Thanksgiving dinner since we won't be together! It was delicious! We had honey baked ham, homemade rolls, sweet potatoes, sautéed veggies, and pumpkin pie :) My sis is a great cook!

The last day before Brittany left we spent the day exploring in Dallas, it was a lot of fun looking in new stores, trying new restaurants, looking at exhibits, and sight seeing!

We were so sad to see Brittany go. We love her so much. She is the most genuine, caring, funny, smart, and endearing person I know. We hope she had a great birthday week with us here in Texas!
