Summer Begins! 2014

The month of June we packed in as many fun things to do here in Texas before we headed home to California for the rest of summer break. For our church Enrichment activity for the ladies in our ward we had a packet that was given of 100 fun things to do in the area. It was so helpful to have that. All the things were family friendly, low in cost, and fun!

There's so much to discover here. I love living in new places for the adventure.
We started off going to the splash pad, the park, the zoo, the library, the children's museum with friend, play dates, the indoor trampoline zone, and the indoor water play center/outdoor pool here in our city at the Rec center. Caleb also had his first swimming lessons here and did great!
Keeping the kids from getting bored is always a challenge, especially at Jonathon's age when he's used to going and going at school. I did have balance in helping them learn to create their own fun too at home; like making homemade ice cream, art projects, quiet time to color and work on school books in their room, movie nights, board games, etc.

Swim lessons, go Caleb!! :)

Play date at the Barnum's, we love this family

Spontantious hugs :) They do love each other, even in between the fighting and wrestling. Brotherly love!
