Dear Dad, thank you for giving me life. Thank you for rocking me on the bouncy ball when I was a baby for hours on end to get me to sleep. Thank you for being my “best buddy.” Thank you for letting me tackle you to the ground every night when you get home from work. Thank you for playing toys with me. Thank you for playing sword fights with me. Thank you for taking me on “rocket rides” under the blanket and showing me space. Thank you for watching shows with me. Thank you for sleeping on the floor by my bed when I’m scared at night. Thank you for potting training me that one weekend when I finally got it. Thank you for teaching me how to play sports. Thank you for letting me work out with you in the garage. Thank you for turning on fun music and dancing with me. Thank you for taking me to the doctor and being strong for me when I had to get my cast on. Thank you for taking me to fun places. Thank you for being the best example of what a Father should be like. Thank you for teaching me about Jesus and Heavenly Father. Thank you for your discipline when I do things wrong because I then learn what’s right. Thank you for treating mommy so well and expecting me to do the same. Thank you for reading me books and saying prayers with me at night. Thank you for being the best Daddy any little boy could have. Love, Jonathon

Dear Dad, Thank you for giving me life. Thank you for being on your knees in my behalf hundreds of times. Thank you for loving me extremely. Thank you for giving me a name and a blessing where my past, present, and future was shared with those around me. Thank you for staying up each night with me so I wouldn’t be alone. Thank you for changing my diaper, taking my temperature and meeting with all the doctors and nurses about my health. Thank you for being so strong for mommy. Thank you for talking to me and singing to me when we were alone together. Thank you for the talk you gave of your love for me after I went to Heaven. Thank you for the Dvd you made for everyone to see my pictures. Thank you for dressing me in my blessing outfit so sweetly and for giving me your missionary tag. Thank you for showing me what a strong Father you are even though you can’t see me. Thank you for continually fathering me even when I’m away. Thank you for your love for me and how much you miss me. Thank you for holding mommy when she’s sad. Thank you for your continued prayers in my behalf even now that I’m gone. Thank you for feeling lucky that I’m your son. Thank you for cherishing the four days we had together and calling them sacred. I hope you know how much I love you, miss you and feel so lucky to be your son and as I watch you from afar I’m so proud of you Dad. Love, Ryan

Thank you for rocking me to sleep at night. Thank you for swaddling me up in my blanket, perfectly, so I feel safe. Thank you for pacing the floor at night for hours when I was born to get me to sleep when my nights and days were mixed up. Thank you for all the late night diaper changes. Thank you for feeding me my bottle because l love bonding with you that way. Thank you for putting me in the front pack and carrying me around with you. Thank you for adoring me to no end. Thank you for being so concerned about me when I have had a rash or have been extra fussy. Thank you for playing with me. Thank you for making me laugh. Thank you for making me smile all the time. Thank you for calling me bubba chub & pork chop. I can’t wait for all the years to come as I grow, to watch and learn from you. I love my daddy. Love, Caleb
