Christmas beginnings 2014

Before we left on our Christmas vacation to California, we managed to get in some fun Christmas activities here in Texas.

We took the kids to see Santa at sundance square in Fort Worth. He was an amazing santa! Sundance square is so beautiful all year round, but especially at Christmas! There are tons of restaurants and shops surrounding the square that we have just begun to explore little by little. The live Christmas tree at the center of the square was so beautiful and ginormous! It felt a little bit like I was in New York for Christmas, which is something I've always wanted to do. :)
The kids loved all the elves walking around and the play area which had huge lollipops and gingerbread houses for kids to play on.

Baking my moms famous sugar cookies is always a holiday tradition and it was fun making plates for friends and teachers with the kids who are always so eager to help me in the kitchen!
Jake and I had a date night at a friends home that was really fun. These are all church friends of ours who have been so sweet to us this year. It was an ugly leggings Christmas party instead of the usual ugly Christmas sweater theme. It was a hilarious twist, for the guys especially!

The day before we flew out caleb had his little preschool Christmas program that was adorable! His awesome private school is Christian based so all of his songs were centered on Christ, which was so neat. He's growing up so fast!
Here he is at his class polar express pajama party! He had such a fun time watching the movie, and eating popcorn and hot cocoa! Both the boys love bringing their teachers gifts and I hope they enjoyed their cookies, beautifully decorated by the boys ;)
Tired boys on our super early morning flight to San Francisco!
