Tracy Family Christmas Newsletter Vol. 7
Merry Christmas to our friends and family near and
far! We hope this letter finds each of you happy and healthy. This year has
been a year of many changes and many blessings for our family!
Starting in January,
Caleb turned 2, which means in a month he will be 3! Our little toddler is
becoming a preschooler. He is talking nonstop and he can never sit still for a
moment. He loves anything cars, trucks and planes and he wears his cowboy boots
everyday of the year. He is the curious one out of the family and is always
getting into something!
In February
we celebrated our 7 year Wedding Anniversary in Carmel Beach. It was a very fun
and relaxing getaway weekend to one of our favorite spots.
In March
we opened our new business ~The Clovis Castle! ~Our all-inclusive wedding and
event venue. This is one of the biggest highlights of our year. It has been a
lot of work and has required a lot of sacrifice this year, but it is also one
of our greatest blessings.
In April
Ashley went on a trip with her best friend to New York City for the first
time, for a week long. It was one of the highlights of her year! She had such a
blast and was happy to fulfill one of her dreams.
In May
Jake celebrated his big 30th Birthday! We had a Fiesta Party for his
big day at the Clovis castle, with a taco truck, mariachi band, and many of our
friends and family. Jake’s mom was able to fly in from Seattle for the week and
that made it all the more special for him. Jake has been busy running his first
business and is doing an incredible job. He loves his calling in the Young
men’s presidency at church, working with the boy scouts.
Jonathon learned to swim in June and picked it up very fast. The summer months were
filled with many trips to the waterpark, swimming in Grandma’s pool, and a trip
to Disneyland and Laguna Beach in July.
We celebrated Jonathon’s 6th Birthday in August, we told him no more
growing! Jonathon started Kindergarten in August as well at Dailey Charter
Elementary. We love his charter school and he loves seeing Grandma Garduno often
(where she teaches 3rd grade!) We also celebrated Ryan’s 4th
Birthday and Heaven day. We had another successful year of collecting and
donating over 80 preemie outfits and blankets to the local NICU in his honor.
September was a very hot month here
in Central California but we managed to stay cool taking another adventurous
trip to Pismo beach over Labor Day weekend.
In October
Ashley celebrated her 27th Birthday with Jake on a weekend
getaway to the Dolphin Bay Resort. Jake surprised Ashley with a convertible
rental and off they drove to the coast. It was a great weekend! The month was also busy with school
activities, a visit to the pumpkin patch, and Halloween! We were the Avenger
family this year.
Last Month in November
we had Thanksgiving with our family at the clovis castle. We had fun announcing
our biggest highlight of the year ~ we are going to have another baby! Due,
June 2013. We can’t wait to meet baby #4!
December brings us current, to a
house full of holiday treats and music in the air. We will be celebrating
Christmas at Disneyland this year at our Ferguson Family Reunion. It will be my
Grandpa Ferguson’s first time to Disneyland. We love this Season of magic. The
spirit of Christmas is in our hearts as we count our many blessings. May the
Reason for the Season fill your hearts with love, hope and peace to last the
whole year through.
