The days leading up to Christmas were so fun and joyful. I am happy we got in many merry and bright holiday activities before the boys got sick! Jonathon currently has bronchitis and Caleb a sinus infection, both have coughs, runny noses and ear pain. I hate it when my kids are sick! I honestly cannot handle seeing them in pain, it makes me crazy and I feel so helpless. It brings back bad memories of Ryan's illness and I think I suffer from PTSD because when the kids get really sick, I don't handle it well and I kind of stop functioning. Thank goodness for Jake, even though he's gone during the day, he's so good about taking over the night shift so I can rest, he's an angel.
Below is a picture of Jonathon singing in the primary Christmas program at church, such cute little angels!
Santa came to visit at the church party! The boys were so excited (though you can't tell with Caleb here ha!)
One night we walked down Christmas tree lane as a family, I love this tradition. The lights and decorations are so fun and the kids love it.
Giving mama kisses, the best!
The boys before going to Jonathon's Kindergarten Christmas Program :) Studs!
I love this picture, Jonathon's face crack's me up. His class sang "Must Be Santa" and in the picture he's saying ho ho ho!
All three Kindergarten classes reciting poems and wishing us happy holidays, each class has only 25 kids, which is so nice compared to other public schools here who have almost 40!
My happy and handsome boy, he loves performing, and he loved his bow tie ;)
Jonathon with his cute teacher and classmates
With Uncle Chris and Aunt Talynn :)
Besides these fun events we did a lot of baking at home, and at Grandma's house, delivering treats, caroling, watching Christmas movies, drinking lots of cocoa, building gingerbread houses, Christmas parties at friends houses, and.... Disneyland!
