Fun by the sea with Grandma Rae Lea

The week of Thanksgiving break we took Jake's mom to the Dolphin Bay Resort for a couple days, and to see Hurst Castle, which she had always wanted to visit. We had such a great time seeing the castle again and the boys thought it was really neat too. Caleb's favorite part was probably the bus ride up to it, which goes super high up on the mountain with amazing views of the ocean the whole way. He didn't like the tour of the rooms in the castle too much, he wanted to touch everything and everything is off limits, so you can imagine our struggle with him for an hour :) We also had fun back at the resort relaxing in the hot tub, playing in the infinity pool, watching movies by the fire with the sounds of the waves in the background, eating the best Italian (my fave) at Giuseppe's by the beach, and ordering the amazing room service breakfast Jake and I had ordered on our last visit. Their french toast is hands down the best.

Good morning sunshine!

I had to include this letter Jonathon wrote. I went to help out at his Kindergarten Thanksgiving friendship feast and his teacher showed me this on the wall. I love it, we had a good laugh. He is thankful for many things, his baby girl, and turkey.... someday kid, someday :) (We find out in two weeks!)

And during Thanksgiving break Jonathon had his karate graduation and moved up to the green belt! Don't you love the knot on his forehead in all the pictures from smacking it on Grandma's fireplace?
