Turkey Day

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had a yummy and relaxing turkey day. I helped make the mashed potatoes, ambrosia salad and cream cheese frosted pumpkin bars from Mrs. Paula Deen! (of course) :) Our feast was amazing, we went to Jake's parents house and Jake's mom made a wonderful turkey and gravy, homemade rolls and her much requested pumpkin cheesecake. Everything turned out great and the cousins had a wild time chasing each other around like a bunch of turkey's themselves. I missed my family, like always, but it was a relaxing evening at the in-laws and I was completely stuffed afterward. We are so grateful for our families and friends and for all of our blessings this year! This has been one of our best years yet!

Jonathon said he was grateful for :
Cookies, mom and dad, his brother, turkeys, his house, crayons, cats, friends and cousins.

He was the cherry on top of my day when before bed he told me I looked pretty and had on a cute outfit and that he loves me "all the time!" Soooo sweet and so hilarious!

Jake and I are thankful for:
Our three beautiful boys, our health, each other, our home, Jake's job, the gospel of Jesus Christ, friends and family and Paula Deen :)
