So the pictures speak for themselves! We had our first snow here in WA state and we had some fun in it, that's for sure! It was so beautiful and exciting watching the first snowfall of the year. Last year it snowed once, and the next day it melted and that was it for snow. Jonathon was very excited to play in the snow with Jake and I and his baby brother and was very excited to build a snowman and have a snowball fight like on Elf! You know, the part where the bully kids attack Buddy and his half brother on the bridge and Buddy throws the snowballs super fast, yeah, Jonathon loves that part. Jake and I had our own snowball fight when Jonathon was inside getting warm by the fire, next thing we knew I was on top of Jake on the ground as he was trying to put snow in my face. I pinned him though, and Jonathon caught us and was laughing through the window. It was so fun! We didn't drive anywhere, which meant we got daddy home almost all week, a great Thanksgiving week treat! We got like 7 or 8 inches in two days. I remember living in UT during college and hating the snow. It was exciting at first, having never grew up with it in CA, but after a couple weeks it was bad, so cold, bone chilling really when the coldest it got in Fresno was the 50's during the day. The roads are scary and I am not used to driving in snow, but I did it to take Jonathon to his feast day at preschool and it turned out fine :) Caleb baby didn't know what to think about his first snow experience when we sat him in a pile of it, he touched it, and watched the boys play around, and was as still as a statue the whole time. Mommy took him inside when his nose was turning red and I think he was happy about that. He did smile the next day however, when he was watching the guys sledding and snow surfing (riding down our neighbors hill on boogie boards!) Everything looks so beautiful in the snow, better than rain! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snooooooow!
