Happy Valentine's Day! We had a wonderful love day today! I am a lucky girl to have my boys as my
Valentine's. Valentine's Day is always so fun and I always enjoy looking back on years past as well. I remember being in grade school and being so excited when I got home to read all the messages my class friends would write to me. The Valentine's day parties at school were my favorite. Growing up we had a tradition in our family, and we called him the Valentine's Day Man. He was the man who decorated the kitchen full of hearts and gave us valentine's day gifts and treats. He was a small scale version of Santa to us. We always looked forward to what the "Valentine's day man" would bring us. My mom would tell us kids that he had a little red car that had hearts all over it,
haha. I decided to keep the tradition and this year Jonathon had a blast knowing the Valentine's day man brought him yummy treats!

My valentine's day man got me these, I just love them, they remind me of our wedding!

I heart attacked the kitchen with love notes for my valentine
What's valentine's day without flowers and chocolate's? Especially hand picked favorites from See's! I love that Jake knows by heart my favorite's.
I made this big heart shaped chocolate cookie for Jake, it's special because on our wedding night we bought one just like this at a Mrs. Field's cookie bakery in San Diego, CA and we brought it back to our hotel suite and ate the whole thing, so it brings back special memories for us!
The hot stuff card is the last card to a series of cards like it with different candy heart sayings, that all had clues on the back leading to the surprises, both Jonathon and Jake had fun going around the house on the hunt.
I love decorating for the month of February, nothing cuter than glittery hearts all over the house. Hope you all had a very happy love day! We are so grateful to have your love in our lives!
