On Friday the day before Halloween the ymca has a toddler gym costume parade/trick or treating. We met up with my friend Leah and her little boy Camden and they had so much fun together. We went last year to this when Jonathon was Winni the Pooh and it astonishes me at how much he has grown and changed since then!

Here is the cutest Scooby Doo ever, already to go!

Playing at toddler gym and feeling very cool with his Scooby Doo costume on :)

It was cute, they had a trail of bats on the ground throughout the whole gym for the kids to follow and at every corner there was a character dressed up passing out candy, fun! On lookers while working out loved watching the kids parade through and some shouted out to Jonathon, "Hey its Scooby!" This made his day.

afterwards... enjoying treats with his buddy

Halloween morning Jonathon and I took in the beautiful sun shining through the kitchen windows and baked my mom's famous sugar cookies! I love traditions, and they simply are just the best sugar cookies I've ever had. I love that we do this every holiday in my own family now like I did with my mom and siblings growing up!

My cute little messy baker who decided to eat all the dough I gave him to play with, he's a great helper! We are quite the team, we have been baking together since he was able to stand up on his own!

Our cute and delicious ending result!

The belly pumpkin all ready for the party, not many times a woman can, or would want, to be this! It was fun!

Mrs. Pumpkin and Scooby all ready for the party at our house

Scooby and his two cousins Wolverine and Captain America trick or treating, look how cute and grown up he looks!!

Daddy and Scooby

I love this picture above of my two guys, they had a blast

Heading home, tired out, ready to check out their candy!
We had a very fun party at our house, it's a tradition we do every year because we have the best neighborhood to trick or treat at! Even though at one house a teenage kid scared Jonathon to death by yelling "boo" in a scary mask and he cried and cried!!! Meany!
I made the desserts and yummy caramel apple cider and hot chocolate and my sister in-law made the BEST homemade chili, which is perfect for a cold night! We had family and friends over and lots of laughs, it was great! We hope you all had a memorable and safe Halloween too!
Next up... Thanksgiving at home in California and a trip to my other home (where my mom grew up) by the beach that started it all... Monterey, CA!
