Grateful

We had Thanksgiving "lunch" at our home just the three of us! It was so nice, and peaceful. It was really fun working in the kitchen side by side with my hubby. Jake was in charge of the turkey, and I did the rest haha :) We went and saw "Bolt" after we were stuffed and had a nap and Jonathon loved it, he wanted to watch it again. Our favorite thing to do is come home and eat left overs for dinner and then watch a Christmas movie with our left over pie. Yum! I made Jake his favorite Snickers pie and me, a pecan pie. I was impressed that everything turned out, really fabulous actually if I do say so. This is both of our first time cooking everything because usually we go somewhere, but we felt it would be good to be at home just us as a family this year. Jake made a beautiful and yummy turkey. My rolls turned out perfect, thanks mom! The potatoes are always my favorite, along with the fruit salad. mmmm...
I wanted to write a little "grateful list"
1. The Gospel- it is everything to me. I have never relied and loved it more than I do now, thanks to what my beautiful son Ryan has taught me, which leads to...
2. Ryan- my little angel in Heaven. I miss him so! We were blessed to feel his love on this special day, he was very much with us. I am grateful for all that he taught me in those seven months I carried him, and the four sacred days he lived on earth. My life is forever changed for the better because of him. I have learned strength, compassion, how to love better, charity, and faith through my little boy.
3. My wonderful husband- I would share my "100 things I love about Jake list," but that would be too long on here. Thank you honey for your love, support, strength and example.
4. My beautiful sunshine of light- Jonathon. He makes me laugh and smile, he's the reason I keep moving, he made me a mother, and he has taught me so many billions of life's lessons.
5. My parents, siblings, and extended family! Your support during this trial has been moving and we appreciate it more than you know!
6. My good friends, thank you for being there for us, loving us, supporting us, through thick and thin.

Jake's favorite part of Thanksgiving! That's my boy.

My little table set up. This is the first time we have used our wedding china! It was so fun and beautiful!! I forgot how beautiful it is.

Jonathon and I almost ready to eat.

Chief Jonathon, he loves patting his mouth and making the Indian call. He showed our pride of being Native American Indian. Cherokee and Chippewa I believe.

The night before Thanksgiving, table ready to hold lots of food. We have lots of left overs... I'm thinking lunch and dinner for the next few days? Nice :)
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving too!
