Avenger's Halloween and Fall Fun

The fall days leading up to Halloween were very fun the for the Tracy clan, full of pumpkin bread making and delivering, pumpkin sugar cookie decorating, a visit to the pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving while watching the world series, ward Halloween parties, school Halloween parties and then the best night of all, Halloween! Our family decided to be the Avenger's this year, Jonathon was Iron man, Caleb the Hulk (Hulk smash!), Mommy Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and daddy Captain America! Don't you love the boys' pajamas? I got those at the outlet stores in Pismo beach, I knew they would love them. The moment I surprised them with them they wanted them on pronto and then they ran around as crazy skeletons do in the dark, because they're glow in the dark!

 I love my boys!
It was hot day, can you tell?

 Caleb loved the pumpkin goo!
My homemade chili and honey cornbread, mmm!
Mom and dad had fun carving too
Caleb had this best time this year with all the Halloween decorations and costumes. Both the boys loved going in the Halloween stores and Jonathon even got my dad to take him there almost every week just to look around haha.We all got a kick out of Caleb wearing my wig and a super scary mask he found in Grandma's Halloween box. He looked like a little troll running around trying to scare us all.
Decorating cookies at Grandma's house. Our fun tradition.
Halloween party at the Tracy's! All ready to go trick or treating :) Caleb was entranced by Snow White, he didn't quite know if it was Grandma or not.
 The Avenger's Family

A little too much candy could you say ..... ?

I am so glad it was decent weather, in the 70's when we went out. I remember how cold it would get in WA, sometimes there would be snow! That makes for a short trick-or-treating run. We took our time walking around our cute neighborhood with my family. The boys were excited about all of their goods. Too many goods. I donated the rest to operation gratitude to our troops :) We ended the fun night with hot cocoa and trading candy for everyone's favorites, mine ... kit kats! Hand over your kit kats kids!
The cold 60 degree weather is settling in Fresno and we have already started to play Christmas music, haven't you? Thanksgiving break is right around the corner, can't wait!
