In the last year or so these are the collection of books I've read.
I am proud to say that I finished the Work and the Glory 9 volume series for the first time!
I fell in love with these books, I fell in love the the story, the people and the history.
I'm so grateful for these books because they truly helped me understand the history of our church in a greater light.
I am so grateful for these amazing people that sacrificed everything! The love I have for my church grew tenfold and I highly recommend them! Everything connected for me and made much more sense... for this is how my brain works, in a story format, to better understand dates and times in history.
Here are the majority of the rest, with a few missing. The books range from Jane Austen's classics, Jane Eyre, more church history to Stephenie Meyers Twilight saga and the Hunger Games trilogy. Loved them all!!!
Basically all of these books saved me over the past couple years.
Slipping into another world other than my own during my moments of grief was a gift.
I love reading, and reading all of these books have helped me become an even better and faster reader.
Jake was often stumped when I would get through a 700 page novel quicker than he thought possible :)
I also feel that it's important to educate myself and work my brain as a stay at home mom, since I'm not in school right now, but soon I will be and will have no time for reading what I want... but I'm sure I'll be surprised.
How did I have time to read all these you ask? Nap time and at night before bed, it helps relax me, it's hard for me to go right to sleep if I haven't read for a little while.
Cheers to book worms!
