Drenched!

One reason I don't like living in WA... the rain and unpredictable weather!
In our city they have a Spring fair along with the usual fall fair. I decided to take the boys since we had free tickets. Right when we walked through the gates it started to sprinkle. So I hurried and got tickets for the kid rides. By Jonathon's fourth ride it was completely pouring, Jonathon and I got completely drenched in a matter of minutes! Caleb was nice and snug and warm covered in the stroller thank goodness. Normally, I would have been appalled at this and raced for our car and headed home, but Jonathon was having such a blast on the rides, and here in WA there are no "rainy day schedules," so the fair kept going. I took a picture of the storm cloud above us. So, we stayed and and used all our tickets, I didn't want to waste money on the ride tickets I purchased anyway! By the time we were done and ready to visit the farm animals under some cover, my hair was dripping wet like I stepped out of the shower wearing all my clothes. It was quite the day I will remember for a long time, Jonathon and I laughing hysterically as rain is pouring down us, me trying to run while pushing my huge double stroller, standing in line for an elephant ear, eating it under the cover of the home shows and then finding relief, finally, as we hung out with the cows, baby chicks, goats, and horses in the barns. When we got home we changed, snuggled up and put on a movie.
