Happy Birthday to ME! I am loving 24 already, I was kind of not that thrilled this past week because I thought, yikes I'm getting close to thirty! But this is good, next year will be a different situation, to have to say I'm in my mid-twenties next year will be not so fun, but we won't talk about that for another 12 months.
I have had a wonderful birthday celebrating weekend. It was nice and peaceful having my birthday on a Sunday. Jake and I went out to eat Saturday night and had a wonderful time and a very delicious dinner, I always get
filet Mignon, it is my absolute favorite and I think I have had it on my birthday every year since I was like 8. The baby was very happy after I ate my warm chocolate chip cookie dessert and they even sang to me and put a pink candle in it, fun!

Below is the most amazing gift ever, my parents coordinated this and had this painting framed for my birthday, it came in a huge package with a bunch of other goodies, thank you mom and dad! Big thank you to Nicole Christian, a long time family friend who is my best friend Ruth's older sis, painted this of me and Ryan. This painting portrays a very sacred moment, the original picture this was painted from was taken moments before he passed away and this painting, so warm and perfect as he was. There is nothing more precious than a mother's kiss to her infant and this painting captures this beautiful and life changing moment. Thank you!

Jake, Jake, Jake. Not many men can do this yes? He is the BEST. I woke up to this on my birthday morning, pink everything, he knows me too well. He was proud of himself at how well he curled the ribbon, I was very impressed. I appreciate that I was able to wake up to this, he is carrying on my moms tradition. She would full out decorate the kitchen table and kitchen for our birthdays like nothing else and it was something us kids looked forward too like Christmas the night before our birthdays. Jake did this all on his own and made a great pancake breakfast too. It felt like home, and I felt like I was 8 again, which is a great and comforting and special feeling.

Jonathon loved it too, when I came downstairs he shouted " ta-
da!" He
loooves birthdays!

the awesome birthday cake with 24 candles, Jake picked out the beach theme ;) Loved it! The beach means a lot to me, it's very special to us. Jake proposed to me on the beach, our engagement picture was taken on the beach, we were married by the beach, our honeymoon was at the beach, etc.

Jonathon helping me blow out my candles, it took three big breaths, the little one inside makes it hard to breathe!

call me the striped pumpkin! I was showing off the awesome scrapbook of all my birthdays from birth to 18 that my mom made for me on my 18
th birthday. As you can kind of see I was chubby with a lot of hair, much hasn't changed,
lol!

me and my pumpkin(s)!!
I had a wonderful birthday. I have never been pregnant on my birthday before so it was really neat! The baby woke me up by his frantic kicking, like saying yay happy birthday mom wake up I smell pancakes! Waking up to pancakes, taking a nice long birthday nap, eating at my in-laws a wonderful birthday dinner, opening great presents, blowing out my candles and eating the best chocolate mousse
Cosco cake, and talking to and being with the ones I love, what can be better? Thank you to everyone for the phone calls, text messages, gifts, cards, treats, emails, etc!!! 24 is going to be a great year!
