Locks of Love

So I have really been thinking a lot about this lately, but I'm thinking this summer I might cut and donate my hair (again) to Locks of Love! I did it on my 17th birthday my Senior year of highschool and it was the most amazing experience. My best friend chelsea even cut it! It was hard to get used to short hair because I have always had it long, but it was fun and sassy. On the website it has pictures of children before and after and it made me cry, I knew I had to do it. My hair grows soo fast and it is so thick, why not keep doing it! Locks of Love, for those of you who don't know, is a non-profit organization that collects donated hair ponytails, minimum of 10 inches in length, and makes wigs for children with no hair. They are high quality wigs because they are real beautiful hair. Check it out : www.locksoflove.org Is there anyone out there that would do it with me!? This would be a fun group donation!!

Ashley I can't belive you posted that on your blog because I have been thinking about doing locks of Love again for the past month. I thought it had to be a minimum of 12 inches though, so I was going to wait until the summer when I could grow 2 more inches. It was a great experience for me too, and I would totally love to do it with you!!! Ruth showed me your site and I added it my my blogspot..check it out, http://johnatlisonbee.blogspot.com...add it to yours too.

No...not your gorgeous hair!! Just kidding- it is such a good cause. I did it in high school as well. When I got home and looked in th mirror I started sobbing. Maybe by summer I will be sick of my hair and do it with you!

That is so weird...I have been thinking of doing this. My hair isn't long enough yet, or close to it, really. But I am growing it out and I want to do Lauren's too. Shhh...I am not telling Jason of my plan. He is anti-short hair. :)
