Super bowl party

We have some friends here in Texas that have Seattle roots like we do, and we had a great party together cheering the Seahawks on! The boys were sad they lost since they pretty much had it in the bag until the last second. But we still had a great time and enjoyed the company and the food! We had lots of dinner and dessert items to choose from, our friends made clam chowder, a signature dish from the popular restaurant Ivar's in downtown Seattle. Jake was happy about that, he loves seafood. There was also pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs for the kids, fruit salads, a beautiful veggie platter by a talented friend from church, and many desserts; homemade cheesecakes, candy popcorns, cupcakes, etc. It was fun watching the boys get all riled up, Isabella was interested in following the other kids all around and eating m&ms :) Maybe next year seahawks!  

I made some bbq little smokies, per the hubby's request, a fruit football helmet, and some football cupcakes :)
