It's so hard to say goodbye

Our last week of summer in CA was spent spending time with family and friends. My grandpa built Jonathon some custom golf clubs just his size, they had a great time together practicing, and I know my Papa Ted really enjoyed teaching Jonathon and giving him tips. I'm so grateful for him, he has been such a wonderful and supportive grandpa. He married my grandma Helen when my dad was an adult, but once we all were born, he really stepped in as grandpa. We lived near him all our childhood and saw him probably every week growing up, he's been there for my family through everything, and now here he is, supporting his GREAT grandchild also.

I'm so lucky to have TWO amazing grandpas in my life who support and love me. We visited my grandpa Ferguson at his retirement center for there Luau party. He was so excited to have us there. The kids were famous, all of my grandpas friends and other residents loved watching the kids and talking to them, especially Isabella, that girl is so social. She walked around waving at everyone. I'm so glad the kids brought smiles to their faces.

My little ninja tuckered out after a long afternoon.

Jake and I went on a double date with a couple we just love, Jared and Cody. I've known Cody since a little girl, in middle school we were inseparable! We used to dress like twins, and I have the most hilarious videos of being crazy little girls. She is getting married to Jared in November, I'm so happy for her! It was so fun catching up at one of my favorite restaurants in Fresno, Edo Ya!

Night time swimming on one of our last nights home = the best! So many fun memories of having my friends over or having pool parties at night growing up.

Celebrating my handsome big brothers birthday! We missed Brittany!!

Her first donut with sprinkles. She loves donuts!
My beautiful girl after church wearing my grandma Elaine's necklace, I just love this picture.

After a wonderful last week in Fresno it was time to head back to Texas for the boys to start school. At the airport in Oakland, Caleb met some new friends from Asia who gave him some chocolate from overseas. All of the flight crew got such a kick out of the kids as we were waiting for our delayed flight. They asked if they could take a picture with Caleb and I got one as well, they were so sweet. Caleb said that was his girlfriend when she hugged him good bye. By the way the kids were acting, so tired and crazy, they must think American kids are quite the show!
