Isabella had her first of many photo-shoots at only 9 days old. I am IN LOVE with these photos. When I saw them for the first time I was so excited and over the moon, because it is yet another dream come true experience with my daughter. I looked for months at different newborn photo shoots and knew exactly what I wanted. My favorite pictures are the one of her in her pink tutu and princess crown, and the one of Bella in her pink fluffy petti skirt and big pink rosette bow. Jake's favorites are the ones of Bella on the scale. They are all so adorable and look like they can be on an Anne Geddes card. Each photo of her is so adorable. It's almost too much to take :) You better believe I will be blowing all of these up and placing them on every wall of my home. I know I am biased as her mother but she is so beautiful! I'm allowed to gloat, right. I remember looking at Anne Geddes cards and calendars when I was young, in awe of these adorable baby photos, wishing to one day have one of my own, especially one of my daughter, in a tutu, a symbol of something I loved to do for a large part of my life and hope she will one day love as well.
The day of the shoot she was sleepy, fed, the studio was warm for her and she stayed asleep for the first hour as props were set up and she was adjusted into each one. But... then she got hungry, as always, and woke up. So we took a little break, I nursed her, rocked her back to sleep and we finished the last hour of shots, with several pacifier breaks in between when she would start waking up. Emma Lynn Photography did an amazing job, she was so great with our little Bellarina. She did all of this while 8 months pregnant with a girl herself! I'm so grateful to Emma for capturing this moment in Bella's life as a sweet, precious newborn straight from heaven and into our arms and hearts forever.
My very own doll! Her eyes look like Cleopatra, perfectly drawn on :)
Those lips!
7 pounds of pure sweetness here
