I've been thinking about this little man a lot lately, I just can't believe he'll be two in a few months! He turns 21 months this month and has transformed into this little boy lately! It happens so fast. Caleb is such a blessing and an answer to much payer for our family. The only time he stays still is when I read him stories before nap time and bedtime and I still rock him while we read. We definitely coddled this one, we still refer to him as "the baby" and he's almost two haha. But rightly so, he came as our rainbow after the storm, he still is our rainbow, filling our daily little life with so much light and smiles and laughter.
Since Jonathon has started school and soccer Caleb follows in his tracks as much as possible. He likes to put his shoes on and one of Jonathon's Cars backpacks so he can be just like brother, and then he waves at me and says, "Aye," which is bye. He wants to go to school too. He has this shoe fetish that cracks us up, he has to be wearing shoes at all times. He changes from his cowboy boots to brother's soccer cleats to daddy's shoes throughout the day. We have to be wearing shoes as well, and if I'm not, he finds my sandals and brings them to me to put on!
Caleb's a mommy's boy AND a daddy's boy as you can by this snuggle time photo :)
We had a great conference weekend last week. From what I could hear between Caleb's screams and chasing him around because he is constantly into everything (total opposite of how Jonathon was at this age), I loved the talks I heard. Can't wait to READ them soon. Grandma Linda made crepes for the Saturday morning session, Caleb sure loves that Nutella!
When they aren't wrestling around, I love when these boys get creative together, they play so cute. I thought I had unpacked all our boxes from the move.... but I guess I missed one!
Caleb with his cute new hair cut from Aunt Talynn, he looks a year older already!
I love this, Caleb will eat anything and everything and yet he's small! He eats more than Jonathon nowadays :) mmm pasta!
Just a little picture of our new stairway photo gallery we put up, I have a few wall decal saying to put up, but it's pretty much done and I love it!
We visited my moms class last week and it was fairytale week. She's the best! :) The boys had a blast in her classroom watching the different plays the kids performed and seeing grandma dressed as a princess! They also loved all the attention from the students.
That's our update for the week, October is a busy month, and my favorite! Next on our agenda is another soccer game this week and soccer team pics, a trip to the big Fresno Fair, the pumpkin patch and family pictures country style! Have a good week ya'll! :)
