It's beeeeen a while!
We are officially moved to California and couldn't be happier!
So far we have been swimming and having fun with my family everyday for the past two weeks the kids and I have been here.
I have the best husband, he pretty much moved us all on his own with the help of very awesome friends.
I think I packed 5 boxes and that was it for the entire move.
I flew here with the boys for my little brother's graduation and would have came back to WA but when we looked at finances it was better for me just to stay put and Jake drove down a week later after he packed our entire home! He did an awesome job and I trusted him not break anything ;)
We had a moving company move our stuff for us down here and it arrived last week and is currently in a storage unit by my parents home.
Once we find a home probably towards the end of the summer after we save a little $$$ it will really feel official and not like we're on vacation!
The past few weeks were crazy, it's so much work to move your family across two states, emotionally, financially, and physically!
Unpacking will be all me and that will take a while, but I look forward to it. All in all, we did it!!!
I'm so grateful for my parents support, it feels so good to be home!
WA friends, please come visit us!!! Thank you for your friendship over the past 6 years! We love you guys.
Father's day was very relaxing.
The pictures spell out the day... a crepe breakfast in bed I made for Jake (and everyone else here!), a nice afternoon at church, snicker's pie for dessert after my dad ( best barbecuer ever) BBQ'd some amazing NY steaks on his grill he got for Father's day. We had my Grandpa Ferguson and my Grandpa Ted over to celebrate them as well. This is what I love about being home, not missing out on family events! Jonathon wrote Jake a very cute little card with his name and an "I Love You" on it. I don't need to go on and on about what a wonderful dad Jake is to our three boys, but I will say he is the best! When we were dating it was one of the top qualities I loved about him, I knew he would be an amazing dad in every way and our boys are so lucky to have him to look up to.
