Caleb's 1st Party!

 My little prince!

The morning of Caleb's birthday he was a little sick, but he still managed to enjoy his birthday breakfast ....

But not quite us singing to him when I had to take the lit candle away from his little fingers, he wanted to hold it, bad call on my part, we should have not lit it at all so he could hold it, Jake and I blew it out anyway... but maybe it was more for us... we got through the first year too!! :)

I saved some things from Jonathon's first birthday, and this was still in its package we never used, I'm glad I found it because this big bouncy ball made Caleb's day!

Friday night was his big birthday bash and Jake and I had a ton of fun planning it and getting it all set up. Jake's parents were kind to let us use their home! We had pizza and salad, chips and salsa and lots of cupcakes for dessert. Caleb had his own cake I made him that was shaped as a one. We decorated everything in blue, green and orange to match his party invites. I love the big number one balloon, he played with it all week after his party! Even the plates, cups, napkins, wall decorations and table clothes had ones on them... can you tell I was excited about his first birthday?!

Caleb loved having his own pizza, he did not want the little pieces I gave him, he wanted his own slice, plus mine and Jonathon's slice, this boy loves to eat!

I love this Birthday Prince hat, it was Jonathon's, it's the cutest. I'm glad I got a picture of him wearing it because he would take it off whenever I put it on :) Thanks for the Birthday Boy bib Aunt Janet!

We call this "the Caleb" for this is how he ate his first birthday cake, no hands, just dove right in! Hysterical and so adorable! His eyes were so wide when we turned off the lights and sang to him, he didn't know what was going on but sure loved his own cake, which he ate most of!

Proud mommy, I love this little guy!! He melts my heart.

Water break!

The slide show I made, that I posted below, Jake set up on the dance floor for everyone. My little niece Abby is watching it very intently :) Look at his cute face!!! We played musical chairs with the kids towards the end down there and Jake had fun being the DJ for the night. He even put together a music play list of just Disney songs to play during the party.

Caleb was so tired by the end of the night but such a good little trooper and so sweet with everyone!

 Since he has too many toys from his big brother, Grandma got him some cute clothes and we asked others who wanted to bring a gift in honor of his birthday to bring a new item that we will donate to the Ronald McDonald house in Seattle. He sure loves that tissue more than anything inside :)

A little one year photo shoot I tried to do with him, he's so squirmy it was hard to do alone.  But he's a doll and these are my favorite ones.
