Portland Temple

The weekend before last our little family took a trip to Portland, OR for my cousins wedding! It was a beautiful drive and only took us two hours. Portland is a beautiful city surrounded by water. My Aunt Sharon (my mom's sister) and her family of eight live about an hour out of Portland. Growing up we didn't see them much, but now that we love closer to them it has been good to see them. My cousin Nick was married to his beautiful new bride Bethani, it was such a beautiful and fun day catching up with my family and watching the happy couple. I was happy to represent our side of the family since everyone else was from the bride's side! My girl cousins watched the boys for us while we attended the sealing. It was a beautiful sealing and as Jake and I held hands and watched the joy on the young couples faces, we were reminded of our own sealing 5 1/2 years ago! The words said were beautiful and inspiring and we enjoyed remembering the counsel given at our sealing that we will never forget.
