cute profile shotI keep thinking... whoever thought I would be a mom of three boys!? In my youth of barbie dolls, baby girl dolls, bows, princess pajamas, and ballet for over a decade, I don't think you could have found a girlier girl. And now still the same girly girl, I am having boys! The older they get the more I realize what I have gotten myself into :) Jonathon nowadays likes to bring bugs he finds from outside into the house, loves dirt, pulling on poor worms, laughs with dad when one of them passes gas, loves his cars and trucks and sword fights. The list goes on! And then I think of the future, with how many boys we have, when I'm their taxi driver to sports and their chef, when they are teenagers, and if they eat anything like my brothers I'm in trouble!
Jonathon is SO excited to have another brother. The baby looks great, perfectly healthy. My doctor came in near the end of the ultrasound and at first this made me nervous. But she is just the best doctor ever and is so compassionate of our family, made Ryan's birth as smooth as possible. She confirmed that everything looked great. This was the most satisfying news of the day, I can breathe a little now! Jake is extremely excited of course, he was telling the technician he wants five boys, and she looked at us as though we were crazy. Jake whistled the whole way home from Seattle and was on cloud nine.
I need help on some baby boy names, I'm becoming a pro at them now! I had my baby girl names all ready, but maybe next time I guess! One day I will have my girl, and she will be so protected with who knows how many big brothers and daddy, she will be so admired.
I couldn't help but feel that this baby boy #3 was chosen for us with the help of his big brother Ryan, that at this specific time and situation of ours, it is perfectly meant to be, and I know Ryan is sending us a very unique and special little boy who will hep heal our hearts the exact way we need, and fill his position in our family as "rainbow" baby they call them (the baby born after the loss of a baby). He will have a very special position in deed. I know Ryan is very aware of us and is happy for his little brother to come here.
We have all the boy stuff we'll need, might need to adjust some clothes since this baby will be born in the winter, and Jonathon was in the summer. I am happy to use the gifts Ryan received at his baby shower also, I know some in our situation wouldn't, but there's something about using the clothes he got that will make me feel comforted and happy.
We can't wait to meet you baby boy #3!!

I have to agree with Adele, boys are fun (not so much drama, so different from our girls.). Well we are so excited for baby boy #3! Your post was very sweet especially what you said about Ryan! I do think about him and wonder about the important work he is doing.
As far as boy names, we had trouble with that ourselfs with our little Zachary Keegan. Other names I really liked was Aden and Keyan. Good luck!
