Today was a beautiful sunny day here in WA and Jake surprised us at home and took us up to Brown's Point where we own some property. We love it there, we go to a secluded spot and love to look for shells, skip rocks, and just look out upon the ocean and relax. I love the ocean. It is so peaceful to me. The sounds, the rolling waves, it makes me feel close to heaven, closer to my soul even. We had a great time laughing, pondering, and enjoying the afternoon as a family. Jonathon loved throwing rocks into the water, finding shells with us, drawing in the sand, and stomping his shoes and socks in the cold water ;) Afterwards we got treats at dairy queen to close the day with a sweet ending.
looking for good rocks to throw for skipping, the highest Jake got was six skips in a row on one throw ;)
