Today marks the four year anniversary of the day that my other half Jake proposed to me on a beautiful beach in Monterey, CA! ... A very sentimental place to me because it's where my mom grew up and grandparents lived for many years.
Look how happy my face is, I was so surprised, it was the most beautiful night ever... random fireworks went off across the bay while we were eating a celebration dinner at one of my favorite restaurants the Chart House!
If you can see by squinting, Jake on one knee, so romantic. The sunset was gorgeous, nice timing Jake. My dream was always to be proposed to here. I have been going to these beaches in Monterey and Carmel since I was born.
The funny story that goes along with these two events is that when Jake and I were more serious and started to discuss marriage I told him that we would not go any further in that direction until Jake met my big brother Christopher who was on his mission during our dating year. So when Chris got back, we were both there to welcome him home, they met, and the next day Jake proposed haha. I think someone was excited. Luckily Chris and Jake get a long great and are so similar its scary. Great memories....
