Memorial day was a fun and relaxing day. We were able to have a BBQ at my in-law's home with cousins, siblings, grandparents and friends. Grandma provided a wonderful meal, dessert, and fun games for the kids. Above all else, I was able to sit back and watch Jonathon run around on Grandma's huge beautiful backyard and feel so incredibly lucky that I was able to be in such a beautiful area, eat whatever I wanted, pray as I wanted, and see my son run around as he pleased. All of this is freedom, and this freedom we enjoy was bought with a price and I am forever grateful for the heroes who defend it.

Cute! I wish we could have been there! It's holiday gatherings like this that make me miss living in Washington. Sarah really liked Lexie the dog too. She liked her so much that she named the rocking horse she got for Christmas after her!
