We had a wonderful Thanksgiving here in California with my family.
I don't think there is anywhere in the world I would rather be on this day,
than sitting in my moms little kitchen with all of us squished around the beautifully decorated tables,
enjoying delicious food we all made together,
laughing, talking, crying, and each saying what we are grateful for.
I was quiet the chef this time around: I used up a whole ten pound bag of potatoes,
thanks to Jake's help as the master peeler :)
I also made the most delicious green bean dish, the recipe is here because it's a must have!
Last but not least I made almost 80 rolls and one of my favorite deserts... Oreo cheesecake.
My little brother, well not so little anymore he's 6"2, made sure that dessert was made, forget pumpkin pie!
Caleb loved the turkey and everything else of course,
Jonathon loved the rolls and desserts the best, no surprise there.
The kids had fun watching the parade at grandma's and watching her stuff the turkey!
We hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving as well! There's so much to be thankful for.
My Thankful List:
To be living back home in California near my family
My loving, hard working husband who always makes me laugh and smile
My three beautiful sons that fill my soul with light
My parents, they are perfect example of strength
My siblings for their individual characteristics and talents
My dearest friends who have been by my side all these years
My Savior and Redeemer
My home
My husband's job
The opportunity to go back to school
and...
Chocolate covered Acai berries from Costco :)
