Soccer Mama!

It's been a couple weeks since I've updated this thing! We are officially settled into our new home! We love it and are about 3/4 of the way done unpacking and what a job that is! Geez louise it's time consuming..... I still can't believe Jake packed everything that I'm now unpacking. So many boxes! How could we have accumulated so much "stuff" in just 6 years of marriage? I guess three kids later changes things. I recommend moving, people, it forces you to de-clutter everything and start all over! The kids love the house, Jonathon says it reminds him of our old house in WA, I agree, just a little bit bigger though.

Jonathon started school as well the same week we moved in! He's loving his school and ... yes I did take pictures of him doing his very first of many many homework assignments! He loved it and kept asking me for more so I started making up my homework for him to work on with his letters and numbers. Yay for that! We're so excited for him and all that he's learning at such a wonderful school and we're so proud of him!

Jonathon started soccer, his first team sport ever played! It would have been t-ball this summer but this summer was way too crazy moving and adjusting! He plays for a team of 4 and 5 year olds through his school and they will have their first game next week, playing at the indoor soccer arena, thank goodness because of this heat! The other night Jonathon and Jake went to Dick's sporting goods store and were there for two hours getting all ready for his first practice! I think Jake was more excited then Jonathon! He loves his little cleats, shin guards, soccer water bottle and blue ball :)

He loved his first practice, his coaches and his little teammates. Gooooo Jonathon! I'm an official soccer mom now I guess, but I will say no to mom jeans!! ;)
