Caleb ~ 8 weeks

Caleb turned 8 weeks last Wednesday! I know it probably seems like I update every little thing but I just can't believe he is two months old, they grow too fast! Just when you're wishing they would get a little older so they can sleep better at night and so on, you"re wishing the opposite! I look at Jonathon now and can remember him at 8 weeks old. I found a video that we taped of him at eight weeks and while I was watching it Jake walked into the room and thought it was Caleb! They look so similar as babies! I took these pictures this last week of baby Caleb and think they are so cute! We hit a big milestone this week, Caleb SMILED! It wasn't a smile in his sleep like most newborns do, it was a full on, look you in the eye, gaze at your face, smile at you trying to be funny smile. Luckily I got one on camera and it is the cutest picture ever, it makes me smile every time I see it. Caleb goes in for his two month check up on Monday so more will be posted on his stats. He is officially out of newborn clothing and will be out of the 0-3 month clothing soon I'm sure. One more huge milestone for our boy, he SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT! Yes, he slept from 1 am to 8 am and it will just keep getting better, I hope, thanks to Baby Wise, awesome book that we used on Jonathon, who also started sleeping through the night at 2 months. It's just all about routine, teaching feeding, wake and sleep cycles and how those influence good nighttime sleep. Anyway, the newborn haze is lifting and we are happy and enjoying our growing bundle of so much JOY!
