Easter Sunday, how Sweet it is!

We had a wonderfully sweet Easter Sunday today, not just because of the candy, which we love, but because of the meaning of today! It was such a peaceful and happy day, even though it was pouring down rain all day! I feel blessed to have been given some extra comfort and peace today. I know why I was so happy today, this Easter is different than any other Easter Jake and I have ever had. The knowledge that we have of Christ' Resurrection is the sweetest thing to us. This Easter day is a day of celebration, in that He has risen! Because of ALL that He did for us, we can rise again one day too, and we know that Ryan will be reunited with his body, and live again with us. There can be nothing sweeter than knowing this. I am so grateful for my Savior, He is truly the light and the life!
Our morning started off with Easter baskets and tons of candy, then we got ready, took some pictures, and went to church where we had a great meeting. I have a new calling by the way... I am team teaching with Jake the 10 year old boys! I am happy about this and am happy to spend even more time preparing and teaching with my hubby. After church we took naps, ahhh, we love naps. Then we went to the cemetery to put some things on Ryan's memorial. Jonathon made an Easter egg craft in nursery so we decided to bring it and place it there. It was very peaceful there, as always, but there was no sorrow today, just gratitude for what the Easter message gives us. We had our own yummy dinner at home and then went to Jake's parents house for an Easter egg hunt and dessert.
